Celebrating Our Community’s Repair Success!
Since November 2022, our dedicated team has successfully repaired over 1,800 items and provided repair advice for an additional 600, serving more than 2,000 visitors. While some items are beyond repair, we are proud of the positive impact we’ve made by extending the life of your cherished belongings.
What Is Repair Café?
Repair Café is a community event where volunteers help you fix broken items. Our goal is to promote a culture of repair over replacement, helping you save money, reduce waste, and learn valuable skills. There are no fees, but we do accept donations to cover costs.
What to Expect
Our skilled volunteer repair experts can help you with a wide variety of items, including:
- Household Appliances: Vacuum cleaners, lamps, and other small electronics.
- Personal Items: Clothing, bikes, and toys.
We encourage a collaborative environment where you can learn how to fix your own items. We ask that you bring only one item per visit to ensure everyone gets a chance to be helped.
Important Notes
For safety and logistical reasons, we cannot accept the following items:
- E-scooters
- Microwaves
- Electric blankets
- Large white goods (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines)
- CRT devices (old televisions or computer monitors)
